Here we are are making use of the default blogger post and comment feeds.So this his Recent comments /Recent post widget can incorporate only the latest 5 results.
To start with ,Go to Layout and select page element
Choose suitable location for your widget and click on add a gadget/element. Now select feeds and as shown below and enter your feed URL . If you are using Blogger , then most probably it would be like this : http://www.yoururl.blogspot.com/atom.xml.
Today I will show how you can optimize images(image SEO) for search engines like Google,Yahoo etc. .This is explained with reference to GoogleBlogger blog, but Wordpress users may also use this if you don’t have plugins installed.
1. Name images correctly : Most important part of the image seo is to name the images correctly. The above image is named as 123.jpg instead of dollar-sign.jpg ,and this would harm the search engine positions of the image for the keyword “dollar sign” . Nofollow is an HTML attribute given as instruction to search engine crawlers ,not to crawl the hyperlinks specified by the nofollow tags. So if are inserting a nofollow tag after a hyperlink , then the target will not carry any value for that link in search engine positions . They are widely used by blogs and forums to avoid spam comments and posts for getting backlinks.
Similarly in Blogger , the comment section is nofollow by default .You can add or remove nofollow from blogger comments by changing its value in blogger template . Removing nofollow will invite more people to comment on your blog and also more fame in webmaster forums. (more…)
Adding Read more in Blogger posts is pretty difficult compared to Wordpress . Since we don’t have a more tag on Blogger, we need to implement a template hack for getting this done.
Open Edit HTML from blogger Layout section and expand widget templates .
Copy this JavaScript code and paste it before </head> in your Blogger template code . Now , press Cntrl+F and search for <p><data:post.body/></p> . The block of codes found near to the above line usually looks as shown below . (more…)

As far i have seen , Feedburner and Feedblitz are the major players in RSS/Email subscription services . Here in this example , i am using Feedburner.com .

Its essential tactic to show related Posts in Blogger , to improve usage statics and page views . If a definite number of related articles are shown at the bottom of each posts,there is chance for the reader to click on those links and head over to the next page . Related posts widget on Blogger depends on how you name your post labels .

I think you have noticed a navigation menu at the bottom of my home page . Normally , blogger includes a link to older posts and previous posts at the end of each page .

Just like selling a website , you can sell /transfer your Blogger blog . First step is to invite the other user as a contributor/author of your Blog . Here’s how you you can do this ,
Go to Blogger template’s settings section and open permissions.
Now as shown below, enter the Gmail address of the person to whom you want to transfer your blog .

I think you have noticed a blue arrow pointing upward in the extreme right bottom of my blog. It is what i call as a go to top of page link . If you have lot of posts in a label or achieve page , its essential that you provide an easy navigation to the top portion of the page without making your visitors to scroll a lot .

Disadvantages of Blogger custom domain
Almost every feature on Wordpress can be implemented on Blogger. But if you want your own identity and features like custom IP , registration , forums etc. a purchased web space would be better . Also there is much control over your content . If your using Blogger , you will be forced to follow the rules and guidelines of Google .
