Here’s a visual list of top Twitter users based on their “retweet” power. Confused? It basically means that tweets written by these people are retweeted (or forwarded) very often by other members of the Twitter universe.

The list includes Twitter accounts of popular bloggers (@scobleizer, @techcrunch), celebrities (@kimkardashian, @aplusk), media (@nytimes, @cnn) as well as some very active Twitter users like @cheth, @flipbooks, @buzzedition, etc.

While I am not sure how this data was compiled, most Twitter users that are on this list do have very “strong” retweet power. Earlier this month, one of my stories on verified accounts was tweeted by @Alyssa_Milano (she found it through @problogger) and that resulted in a flood of new visitors to this blog. It was nearly like the Digg effect.
